Ayrshire Log Cabins are a local family run business that was founded in May 2007. The company is going from strength to strength and has its sights set on being the biggest Log Cabin retailer in Ayrshire.
Ayrshire log cabins prides itself on not just selling a product but being able to service all our clients needs from point of contact right through to a completed installation. We have found that the need for Log Cabins, Summer houses and additional space at home in Scotland used to come at a premium but now thanks to Ayrshire Log Cabins this can be achieved at a greatly reduced cost and with a lot less hassle.
Ayrshire Log Cabins was set up in April 2007 after long discussions with various Log cabin manufacturers. Following these meetings it was agreed that we would work alongside one of Europe's Largest Log Cabin manufacturers to distribute, sell and offer an installation service to people in Scotland whilst also covering the rest of the UK.
Our understanding of the market place at present, is that people are looking for more and
more space around the household as children are getting bigger and the the house is getting
smaller therefore that extra bit of space is very much needed. We can offer products for a
range of uses including work, leisure or play to suit every individual taste and requirement.
Climate change is something else that was considered when we started the company by the way of the environment. There are a lot of people traveling to work every day that could just as easily work from home if they had the room. The problem this presents is lack of space at home, you would then look down the route of having a builder price an extension or attic conversion but again the cost, time, mess and inconvenience is just not feasible for a lot of people. This is where we really started looking into our current situation, it was possible for us to work from home but again we needed that extra space and again the log cabin / office was a better idea for us, with no mess in the house, much less expensive, no planning permission required (please check with your local authority/council) and very very quick.
