We recommend checking all contents upon delivery.If any parts are missing or damaged please inform us within 3/5 days of delivery. We will repair or replace that part as soon as possible and do our very best to get it to you within 14 days. Please fill in the check list (which is enclosed with the assembly instructions) and send it to us at the following address:

We at AYRSHIRE LOG CABINS reserve the right to make any changes on products without prior announcement. Please ask sales regarding any modifications
Please bear in mind that wood is a natural product which breathes and can slightly change dimensions (up to 2%). That is why, some boards, could split slightly. This is nothing to be concerned about and will not affect the cabin structure.
Delivery Terms
Delivery is FREE to any UK mainland destination however extra charges may apply on some products and accessories etc. when buying separate from Ayrshire Log Cabins. After your order is placed we will then check the availability of your log cabin or accessories from our stock in the UK and confirm the delivery date. We are committed to getting your order delivered as fast and efficiently as is physically possible. All orders received are acknowledged within 2/3 working days and you will also be contacted prior to delivery, to confirm delivery time and date.
Ayrshire Log Cabins will dispatch the goods only when payment has been received in full and all funds have cleared. Thereafter goods will be dispatched for delivery.
Delivery Time
At Ayrshire Log Cabins we do our very best to get your product delivered to you as soon as possible, and on time however delivery times depend on goods availability in stock once your order is placed, we will contact you and confirm the exact delivery date and time.
Typical Delivery
Our typical form of Delivery is Hand Off-Load. We Require a minimum of two able-bodied people to assist with off-loading. Access must be available for a normal truck, allowing a width of 3 Metres and a length of 11 Metres. Crane/Hi-AB off-load is available at additional charge. Delivery within normal working hours. Other delivery time should be agreed additionally. The customer pays any extra delivery costs incurred by requesting either weekend delivery or out of hours delivery. (These prices can be quoted upon request).
In case of delivery to certain locations such as hospitals, airports, hotels, ships and other business premises, the signature of any person authorised to accept delivery on behalf of the organisation shall be accepted as proof of delivery. Should delivery be refused at the delivery address, and re-requested for another date, we may charge for the second delivery, since we met our delivery obligations with the initial delivery attempt. It is the recipients responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carriers delivery consignment note. Shortages must be noted on the consignment note, where possible. You should notify us of the shortages within 10 days of delivery. If packaging looks damaged on delivery we recommend the contents are inspected before accepting and signing the delivery note. Please bear in mind that not all building parts will fit through a standard doorway or go round corners.
Product Delivery Sizes
Please compare the dimensions of parts and make sure your site access is adequate. We can provide package dimensions if required upon request.
Base for the Log Cabins
All cabins require a flat level base for log cabin/shed or summer houses to be installed . We recommend either a slabed area / concrete base or the new hawklok system be used.
Treatment
All Log cabins are not pre-treated due to the nature of their construction and therefore need to be treated as soon as installation is completed. Your new cabin will need to be treated with a micro porous wood stain (such as cuprinol). We recommend treating both the inside and outside for extra protection.
Hot Tubs
If your cabin is going to be used to house a hot tub, ample ventilation should be provided to reduce the moisture inside the cabin. This also applies if you are going to fit a shower or any other source of moisture.
Insulation of Log Cabins
Generally the solid wall logs give very good insulation; however if you use the cabin throughout the winter months the cabins can be insulated below the floor and above the roof. Double glazed windows and doors can also be purchased for certain models.
